January

February

March
March marks a significant temperature increase with highs reaching 125°F and lows of 91°F. The extreme heat begins to make outdoor activities increasingly dangerous, with minimal rainfall at 0.1 inches. This month transitions into the more challenging period for visitors.
April
April brings scorching temperatures with highs of 147°F and lows of 109°F, making it extremely challenging for any outdoor activities. Rainfall increases slightly to 0.2 inches but remains negligible. The intense heat makes this month suitable only for those with specific heat tolerance and preparation.
May
May experiences dangerously high temperatures with highs of 164°F and lows of 128°F. Even nighttime temperatures exceed typical summer highs in most climates, with minimal rainfall at 0.2 inches. This month poses serious health risks and is not recommended for general travel.
June
June brings extreme heat with highs of 179°F and lows of 145°F, creating life-threatening conditions for unprepared visitors. The 0.2 inches of rainfall provides no relief from the intense heat and 70% humidity. This month is among the most challenging for human habitation.
July
July represents the peak of Carmel's extreme climate with the highest temperatures of the year at 185°F, and lows of 151°F. With only 0.2 inches of rainfall, this month presents the most severe conditions and poses extreme danger to human health. Travel is strongly discouraged without specialized preparation.
August
August remains at peak intensity with highs of 183°F and lows of 149°F, just slightly below July's extremes. Rainfall drops to 0.1 inches, providing virtually no moisture relief. This month continues the period of most dangerous conditions for visitors.
September
September shows the first signs of temperature decline with highs of 172°F and lows of 135°F, though conditions remain extremely dangerous. Rainfall decreases to 0.1 inches, maintaining the arid conditions. While slightly cooler than peak summer, temperatures are still life-threatening.
October
October continues the gradual cooling trend with highs of 150°F and lows of 113°F. Despite the relative decrease, temperatures remain at dangerous levels with minimal rainfall at 0.1 inches. Conditions begin to transition toward the slightly more tolerable winter months.
November
November sees further temperature reduction with highs of 125°F and lows of 94°F. While still extremely hot by normal standards, this represents a significant cooling from peak summer. Rainfall remains minimal at 0.1 inches, maintaining the desert's arid character.
December
December marks the return to the year's coolest temperatures with highs of 104°F and lows of 79°F. While still extremely challenging, these temperatures represent the most manageable conditions alongside January and February. Rainfall remains at 0.1 inches, typical of the region's arid climate.
